Over five year later....
I decided to look back at my old blog an oh have I grown... It seems so minuscule to have blogged about Black Friday, something that I guess have become less impressive over time and very unimportant. Although it is quite ironic that are posts about an upcoming deployment and my quick thoughts on location and growth opportunities because i am again faced with the same issue. I have the option to go on this deployment and have decided to go, in order to progress my career and have funding to build a garage at my house. Oh yea, i bought a house in 2019 also, it was a pretty good year for me. turning 30 was great!I can confidently say that i have matured and grown as a person and am in a place i am comfortable with.
I have no complaints about my life at this point , which i know in my past i could not have said, again maturity at its finest.
I am also in a mature relationship with a man i respect very much. It is a fairly new relationship and with the deployment and his future goals at hand it will be interesting to see what will happen between us. I can only hope that we can find a way for us to both achieve our goals while also growing our relationship, although that will prove to be pretty difficult.
I have about a year left until i will graduate with a Bachelors in Geology. I am very proud of that choice. I left King Soopers in November of 2019 and have not looked backed ever sense.
What is normal to blog about, i guess the point is to make it what you want. I only look at food blogs for the recipe and skip the narrative. I suppose i didn't make this to be readily accessible and read by others. putting things on paper or screen in this instance is just therapeutic at times, not to mention i just like to type on this keyboard.
Since food seems to be a reacquiring theme for me i think it is worth mentioning that we did just make almost 8lbs of Pico! and a massive amount of burritos are to follow.
