Dinner

I made a quick decision to cook dinner last night. This is what i ended up with...

Tropical fruit Sake Pork chops
I seared the Pork chops in a frying pan with butter, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika and garlic powder. once it was nicely browned on both sides i added a pure of refrigerated tropical fruit mix (pineapple, and red and yellow papaya in juice) along with a generous splash of Sake. I let this simmer while preparing the rest.

Spicy relish
Diced pickles tossed with hot chili powder, salt, pepper, died onion, and a bit of garlic powder.

Savory mashed potatoes
In a bowl i microwaved two potatoes for about 3 minutes  I sliced them and added some butter and continue microwaving for another minute. I them mixed in ground thyme, garlic powder, a little chili powder, more butter, paprika and S&P. I mashed with a fork and microwaved another minute to make sure they were nice and soft.

Moonshine cherries in cola
As titled. I mixed moonshine cherries from the local liquor store with some cola. Yummy!

I made all of this up as i went. I was just going to use apple sauce but when i noticed i didn't have any i decided to make a pure of what i did have. I didn't want to pork to be to sweet so i added the chili pepper and then decided to balance it out with a savory side dish. i then thought i wanted something green on the plate but i didn't have anything but plain lettuce so i decided on pickles and i wanted spicy  so i through it in..I surprised myself, it turned out Great!
